Palace Night Club Closed In Blantyre For Tax Evasion

The Malawi Revenue Authority (MRA) has sealed The Palace Night Club being run at Medical Aid Society of Malawi (Masm) complex in Blantyre for failure to settle tax evasion penalty.
The night club was reported to the authority during the Kuyiphula ndi Lisiti Langa promotion that it does not issue an Electronic Fiscal Device receipt.
MRA penalised the club to pay K500,000 but it is yet to pay after 21 days, which has led to its closure.
