Three people have been arrested in connection with the murder of Dyson Saidi, a boy living with albinism in Mangochi.
Police Deputy Inspector General Merlyne Yolamu confirmed during a media briefing in the capital Lilongwe.
And on the case of Prosper Hunderson, who was ruthlessly killed in Chikwawa, two suspects have been arrested.
According to Merlyne Yolamu, Deputy Inspector general of police responsible for administration, so far 194 cases have been registered and 93 cases have been completed in court.
Yolamu says 73 cases are still being investigated by the Malawi Police which include tampering with the graveyard.
Police have since said they will not relent with efforts to give maximum protection to all persons with albinism.
Meanwhile, Yolamu has urged traditional doctors to refrain from advising people to use albinos for their rituals.
She has also called on the general public to join forces if the battle against abductions killings of people with albinism to be won.
And on his part, Overstone Kondowe, Presidential advisor on persons with albinism has hailed police for its efforts to contain cases of abduction and killings of people with albinism in the country.
