President Dr Lazarus Chakwera will attend the 40th Southern African Development Community (SADC) Extraordinary Summit of the Heads of State and Government which will be held in Maputo, the Republic of Mozambique, on Wednesday, 23 June 2021.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced this on Monday through a statement made available to faceofmalawi.
According to the statement, the President will leave the country through Kamuzu International Airport (KIA) in the capital Lilongwe in the morning.
The President will return home the same day.
The statement further says that full details regarding the Presidential engagement will be announced in due course.
