Malawi is doing well in the implementation of protocols aimed at achieving SADC Regional Integration.

This has been observed on Tuesday at the SADC Seniors preceding meeting to the SADC Summit of Heads of State and Government in Mozambique.

It was learnt that Malawi has successfully achieved food security more than most of the countries in the region due to its policies including the Affordable Input Program (AIP).

Malawi’s approach to the COVID-19 fight has also been applauded as one of the best in the region.

Luckie Sikwese, Principal Secretary in Ministry of Foreign Affairs, who has led a Malawian delegation to the meeting, said the development is very encouraging to the nation.

He also noted that Malawi became the first country to go digital in the issuance of paperless documentation to travellers within the region.
