Chief Executive Officer for the National Food Reserve Agency (NFRA) Duston Nasimuku Saukira has been fired.
Dennis Kalekeni, NFRA Board Chair confirmed of the development.
Kalekeni also said that NRFA Director of Finance Peter Salamba has been dismissed.
According to Kalekeni, the two have been fired following audit reports that revealed a number of financial irregularities.
The irregularities include the usage of K611 million meant for maize purchase on other things.
The two are yet to comment on the matter.
