The Anti-Corruption Bureau has arrested four officials from the Ministry of Lands in Mzuzu on allegation that they corruptly received MK1, 800, 000. 00 from Benjamin Jere as payment for a piece of a land at Area 4 in the city.
ACB Principal Public Relations Officer, Egrita Ndala has confirmed of the development in a statement made available to faceofmalawi.
According to Ndala, the suspects appeared in court today where they have been granted bail.
The suspects are Khwima Mkandawire, Chisomo Chawanje, Richard Sumayili and Adiel Tsambewe.
