Reports reaching FaceofMalawi have disclosed that former Reserve Bank Manager and Democratic Progressive Party ( DPP) senior member Dr. Dalitso Kabambe has been arrested.
This follows the arrests of other three officials on Sunday in connection to the allocation of 4.3 Billion Kwacha to FDH Bank a night before Fresh presidential results were announced.
Kabambe is now at Lumbadzi police station in Lilongwe.
The three Central Bank’s officials are former Deputy Governor, Henry Mathanga, retired Director Rodrick Wiyo, and Leah Ndonga, one of the current managers at RBM.
A local daily reports that the three-handed themselves to police.
However, Police Publicist, James Kadazera could not confirm the development while asking for more time.
