One of the popular lawyers in the country has joined Malawians of good will in supporting veteran musician cum politician Lucius Banda who is currently not well.
Lucius Banda together with his two brothers (Paul and Francis) have been unwell for some time, and need treatment and several people are organizing various activities with an aim of raising funds for the three.
Touched with Banda’s health condition Kita has donated Mk2 million for medical bills.
“This pic was taken in 2012. Then I formed an NGO, known as a YADEMA. It was quite formidable against perceived evils of the bingu Adminstration. So on this day, a friend, the late Alexender (zanda) mkandawire invited me to crossroads hotel to meet Lucius banda. And we met, and he offered to perform a show for free for YADEMA at the then mungo park, all proceeds were to go to the activities of YADEMA coz he believed in our cause for a just society.
“Indeed the show happened and we were allowed to keep all the gate collections. That was the selfless Lucious banda. And now when he is going through this trying time, I have no option but to pay back for what he did to us in those days when we couldn’t afford anything. A 2 million kwacha soldier from me to push you through ur medical bills,” wrote Kita.
Kita has since asked Lulu to get in touch with him so that he should collect the K2 million.
