The High Court in Blantyre is on the 16th of July  expected to deliver its ruling on whether the case to relocate refugees and asylum seekers to Dzaleka Refugee Camp should proceed or not.
When the case appeared before high court judge Mandala Mambulasa on Friday, the state argued that the notice is for those residing outside towns and not those in the rural areas.
In April this year, government ordered the displaced foreign nationals to vacate various locations across the country and head back to the camp in Dowa.

However, some refugees obtained a court injunction against the order insisting that a judicial review be done first.

But before the injunction the Human Rights Defenders Coalition  (HRDC)and human rights lawyer warned government against violating refugees rights in relocating them to Dzaleka Refugee Camp.
