The Supreme Court of Appeal has postponed to 14 July, 2021 hearing an appeal case involving murder convict, Misozi Chamthunya.
The case has been adjourned to 14 July,2021 because the court did not meet the  quorum of seven judges.
Only six judges were present as Justice Ivy Kamanga failed to make it.
Chief Justice Andrew Nyirenda told the court that Justice Kamanga has gone into self quarantine after exposing herself to covid-19.
Chanthunya was convicted in September last year by the High Court in Zomba for allegedly murdering his 25-year-old Zimbabwean girlfriend Linda Gasa in August 2010.
Chanthunya is currently appealing against his conviction and life sentence on three offences of murder , smothering and hindering burial of a dead body and perjury.
