Malawi’s President Dr Lazarus Chakwera has arrived at Lusaka International Airport in Zambia to attend a State Funeral of Former President Dr Kenneth Kaunda.
Kaunda died at the Military Hospital on Thursday, June 17, 2021 after suffering from pneumonia.
Upon arrival Dr Chakwera was welcomed by Malawi High Commissioner to Zambia Warren Gunda and Zambian Government officials.
Chakwera will return home later in the day.
