Police in Mchinji have arrested two people for allegedly trading in medical drugs without appropriate certification.
Mchinji police station officer, Charles Mpezeni has confirmed the development.
The suspects identified as Gilbelta Moses and Filikano Banda.
The two were arrested on Wednesday at Kamwendo and Waliranji trading centers respectively.
According to Mpezeni, the suspects were found with Bactrim, Declofenac, Piriton and Sadamol drugs among others.
The arrested suspects will appear in court soon.
