Dedza district council has elected Councillor Isaac Ziyaya of Katewe ward as a new Chairperson for the district today.
Councillor Gift Balaka of Mtakataka has also been elected as new vice chairperson for Dedza District council.
The two have promised the people of Dedza that construction of all projects that were abandoned will be completed.
