At least two people have died in Dedza road accident which involved a motorbike and a Honda last evening.

Dedza police station deputy publicist Cassim Manda confirmed of the accident.

According to Manda the motorbike the two deceased people were riding burst into flames following a head on collision with a Honda.

Manda said that the driver of the Honda was trying to overtake another when it slammed into the motorcycle which was going the opposite direction.

One of the deceased has been identified as Afiki James Kambala aged 36 while the other is unknown female passenger.
