President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera has expressed shock over the untimely death of State House press officer responsible for Marketing and Special Events Martha Chikuni.
Chikuni died suddenly today from unknown illness at Mwaiwathu Private Hospital in the commercial capital Blantyre.
A statement from State House says Chakwera is deeply devastated with Chikuni’s death.
“The President, His Excellency, Dr. Lazarus Chakwera, is deeply saddened by her passing and conveys condolences to the bereaved family and to all Malawians who enjoyed watching her as she communicated and marketed the President’s policies and government agenda, for the good of all Malawians,” reads in part the statement.
She was a daughter to radio personality Lucius Chikuni.
