Director Of Public Works In Dedza Matthews Lungu Sent On Leave Over Abuse Of Public Funds Allegations

Matthews Lungu, Director of public works at Dedza district council has been sent on forced leave on the allegations that he abused public funds.

District Commissioner for Dedza, Emmanuel Bulukutu, has confirmed of the development.

Lungu’s fate follows his involvement in social media conversation that he took part in abusing public funds.

Lungu, has therefore sent on forced leave pending investigations into the alleged matter.

The probe also aims to get to the bottom of messages in the public domain purported to have been an exchange between Lungu and a friend over the running of council finances.
