Police in Limbe have arrested three people for the murder of a 74-year-old woman.
The deceased identified as Amina Azizi Sunka, a Malawian of Indian origin.
Limbe Police Public Relations Officer Patrick Mussa has confirmed the arrested of these three people.
Reports have indicated that Sunka met her fate on June 20, 2021, at her home in Mudi residential area, where she was found lifeless with both hands and legs tied.
He said detectives visited the scene and took her to Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
He added the detectives further instituted an investigation which led to the apprehension of Shakir Lulanga, 29 (her gardener), Christina Gwiliza, 29 (her housemaid) and Brazio Guta Tembo, 57.
The arrest comes barely few weeks after the arrest of three other suspects on suspicion that they had a hand in the death of one Aniz Ammad Osman Kali, 57, a Malawian of British origin at BCA Hill in Limbe, Blantyre, who was also robbed of cash amounting to K4 million.
