Authorities have closed Neno District Council offices until Monday for disinfection after some officers tested positive for #COVID19.
In the past 24 hours, the district registered 25 positive cases, bringing the total of active cases to 52 with 10 deaths.
In the past week the country has registered a sharp rise in COVID-19 cases with the latest report showing that the country has registered over 700 new cases.
As this is not enough, yesterday the country buried Member of Parliament for Nkhotakota North East Constituency Martha Lunji Chanjo who succumbed to COVID-19.
