Tanzanian Music sensation Diamond Platnumz has confirmed he is shipping in a Bentley and Lamborghini after taking possession of Rolls Royce and two Cadillac Escalade.

The Bongo singer has been on a car-buying spree ever since Forbes embarrassed him saying he was not the richest musician in East Africa.

Akothee was ranked East Africa’s richest musician with a net worth of $10 million/Ksh 1 billion. Bobi Wine was ranked second with a net worth of $8 million, Jose Chameleone was third with $6 million while Diamond Platnumz was ranked fourth with $5 million net worth.

Diamond took to social media to express his frustrations with the list after it went viral across the continent.

The Bongo singer angrily hit out at Forbes for underestimating his true net worth.

“FORBES: next time google me to know what am really worth of, before putting me on your Stupid Richest African Musicians List!!!” A vexed Diamond wrote on social media.

As if to prove he was richer than what Forbes claimed, Diamond went on a car-buying spree, purchasing high-end vehicles that cost millions of shillings.

Diamond acquired two Escalades days apart in June; he bought Cadillac Escalade Sky Captain Edition (2015) then days later he took possession of a new model, Cadillac Escalade Black Edition 2020.

Diamond’s finance manager Don Fumbwe said that a Rolls Royce was on transit after he took possession of the two Cadillac Escalade.

True to that, on July 14th Diamond took to social media to announce he had received a brand new Rolls Royce Cullinan Black Badge 2021.

After he received his two Cadillac, Diamond said his Rolls Royce was on the way coming and people doubted him until it arrived. Now Diamond has announced his Bentley and Lamborghini are on transit.

Diamond broke news about his Bentley and Lamborghini while showing off his car collection in a video on social media.

“Babies Day out… I can’t wait for my Bentley and Lambo to arrive in my Country ????,” Diamond captioned the video.
