The High Court sitting in Mangochi has established that three accused persons in the murder case of Saidi Dyton a person with albinism have a case to answer.
The three: James Pilo Khang’a ,71, Sumaili Nikisi, 45, and Gayesi Kapute, 44, are accused of killing Saidi Dyton a boy with albinism from Kadewere Village in the area of Senior Chief Chowe in Mangochi.
According to spokesperson in the Ministry of Justice, Pilirani Masanjala, the accused persons are expected to answer three charges of Murder, extracting human tissue and trafficking in persons.
“The ruling means that the three accused people will answer charges of murdering Dyton in January 2021,” said Masanjala.
The court started hearing the case on Monday and the State has so far managed to parade seven witnesses. The lateDyton was murdered on January 27, 2021, and some of his body parts were found in the garden of one of the accused persons.
Magistrate Nzondi Mvula of the High Court is the one hearing the case in Mangochi.
