Man takes his own life after a fight with his wife over liquor business

Forty-six-year-old, Yokoniya Phiri, from Kaponda Village in Kasungu has been found dead hanging to the roof of his house, police suspect suicide.
Kasungu Police Deputy spokesperson, Miracle Mkozi, says the incident follows an argument Phiri had with his wife on July 21, 2021.
According to Mkozi, Phiri wanted his wife to stop doing liquor business but they did not agree.
Phiri hailed from Kaponda Village, Senior Chief Kaluluma in Kasungu District.
