Prophet Shepherd Bushri of Enlighten Christian Gathering (ECG) church will this coming Sunday hold the ECG global celebration in the capital Lilongwe.

This service will be held to mark the end of a long one week ECG global activities lined up by the church.

ECG Public Relations officer Ephraim Nyondo has confirmed of the development in a statement made available to faceofmalawi.

According to Nyondo, the day will be spiced up by live performances from ECG artists such as Swazi, Onesimus, Praise Peterson, Tumi, Gwamba, Rhema Barach and many more.

“The Enlightened Christian Gathering (ECG) church has announced it will engage in week-long preparatory activities in all its branches across the world as a build up to the grand celebration of Global ECG Day this coming Sunday.

“Global ECG Day is a special day where all ECG members across the world come together to celebrate being part of this religious institution which is more than a church but a family,” said Nyondo.

He added: “As a build up to the day, which falls on 1st August 2021, the church—through all branches in 73 countries across the world—will engage in various activities starting this Tuesday 27th July.

“Among others include: charity works, evangelism, door-to-door visits, distribution of free The Jesus Nation book, hold special online services and many more.

“Besides these activities, the church has also organised an online musical concert which will feature all ECG artists such as Swazi, Onesimus, Praise Peterson, Tumi, Gwamba, Rhema Barach and many more.

“All these activities will be wrapped with a mega online church service on Sunday which will be hosted by Prophet Shepherd Bushiri.”
