President Lazarus Chakwera has left Lilongwe for London, United Kingdom (UK) where he will attend the Global Education Summit from July 28 to 29, 2021.

Among others, the summit will discuss how the world can collaborate and support quality education for all children.

Chakwera will meet UK Prime Minister, Boris Johnson.

The Malawi leader is expected to return home on August 1, 2021.

Speaking at Kamuzu International Airport, Chakwera said it is very crucial for the country to partner with those that have have the will of raising education level, with emphasis on girls.

He said if the country trains a girl child, it will have answers to several challenges it experiences.
