Inspector General of the Rwandan National Police, Mr. Dan Munyoza, is in the country on a five-day official visit at the invitation of his Malawian counterpart, Dr. George Kainja.
Mr. Munyoza arrived through the Kamuzu International Airport yesterday, July 25, 2021.
Today, July 26, 2021, the Rwandan IGP is scheduled to hold bilateral talks with Dr. Kainja and top management of the Malawi Police Service (MPS) at the National Police Headquarters in Lilongwe.
Later, Mr. Munyoza and Dr. Kainja will inspect a guard of honour, appreciate public order management displays as well as it inspect kennels for police dogs.
While in the country, Mr. Munyoza is expected to tour a number of police establishments as well as attend a number of meetings aimed at cementing the cordial relationship existing between the two police institutions and countries.
Mr. Munyoza’s visit comes barely two month after Dr. Kainja also visited Rwanda in May this year.
