There were questions after it was revealed that President Lazarus Chakwera’s daughter Violate Chakwera was included in the presidential entourage to London, UK.
Debate was sparked considering that the President’s daughter does not hold any government position, hence no need for her to accompany the president to UK.
However, it has been revealed that Violate Chakwera accompanied the president to UK in her capacity as the Person Assistant to the First Lady, Monica Chakwera.
The revelation follows Minister of information Gospel Kazako’s clarification that every person who accompanied the President to UK had their role to play.
