Chakwera appoints Council members of the de-linked Universities

President Lazarus Chakwera has appointed council members for the three new universities after the delinking of the University of Malawi colleges.
Dr George Patridge has been appointed as Chairperson for the council of the University of Malawi.
Professor George Kanyama Phiri has been appointed as Chairperson for the council of the Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences.
Dr. Francis Moto is the Council Chairperson for the Kamuzu University of Health Sciences, formerly College of Medicine.
The Office of President and Cabinet says the appointments are effective July 29th, 2021.
