In a suspected case of child abuse, a devious woman killed two children and drove around for months with the dead bodies stuffed inside the trunk of her car.
Nicole Johnson, 33, from the east coast city of Baltimore was arrested charged with murder and child abuse that resulted in the death of a seven-year-old girl and five-year-old boy whose bodies had been stuffed in the trunk of her car.
The police identified Nicole as the aunt of the siblings: Joshlyn Johnson, 7, and Larry O’Neil, 5. The two minor children had apparently been entrusted to Nicole’s care by her sister sometime in 2019.
According to the charging documents, sometime in May last year, Nicole is alleged to have stuffed her niece’s body into a suitcase and put it in the trunk. She did not report the incident to the police nor did she inform her sister. She allegedly continued to use the car with her niece’s dead body and acted normally as if nothing had happened.
A year later, she killed her nephew and placed the body next to his decomposed sister wrapped in a plastic bag.
After observing that there was a strong stench coming from Nicole’s car, the police quizzed her about it. Initially, she denied knowing the source of the stench but when police opened the car’s trunk they discovered Joshlyn and Larry’s decomposed bodies.
Globaldaily reports that during questioning, Nicole revealed that her niece died after she hit her head on the floor. She, however, did not explain how her nephew died.
