Presidential Advisor on Youth and Arts Lucius Banda has expressed shock over untimely death of veteran Actor Eric Mabedi, popularly known as Jacob.
Mabedi succumbed to COVID-19 this morning at Mwaiwathu Private Hospital in the commercial capital Blantyre.
Writing on his official facebook page Banda described Mabedi’s death as big loss to the entertainment industry.
“Malawi we have been robbed again…another talent is gone. Tilire motani!?
“Go well my friend Eric ‘Jakobo’ Mabedi. RIP my brother ,” wrote Banda.
Mabedi will be laid to rest on Tuesday at HHI Cemetery in Blantyre.
