A 19 year old woman is battling for her life in hospital being attacked by her husband on the private parts in Lilongwe.
The police in Lilongwe have since arrested the husband identified as Yohane Jailosi from Msukuma Village, Traditional Authority Kabudula in the district.
The law enforcers have confirmed of the accident in an interview with the press.
According to the police, the suspect is said to have accused her wife of having an affair with another man.
But this did not please the wife resulting into a fight.
In the process, the victim took a sharp object and stabbed her on the private parts.
The wife was found unconscious by some villagers who took her to the hospital after reporting the matter to police.
The suspect will soon appear in court.
