FaceofMAlawi can establish that Minister of Energy, Newton Kambala, Aford President Enoch Chihana, and Presidential aide Chris Chaima are to spend another night in police custody in Lilongwe.

The three were in a second day running being questioned by the Anti-Corruption Bureau over their alleged role in processes to do with the awarding of fuel supply contracts at Nocma.

The three will appear in court tomorrow (Wednesday), ACB Director General Martha Chizuma has confirmed the development.

Meanwhile, speaking on the development Lawyer for Kambala, George Mwale has said the three have not been charged.

The three were expected to be taken to court today for charging and bail application.

However, the Lawyer for Chihana, Gilbert Khonyongwa, says the accused will apply for bail tomorrow.

The development comes at a time the ACB finishes interrogating the trio.
