Former ActionAid executive director Grace Malera has been appointed Ombudsman.
The development comes after the position fell vacant following Martha Chizuma’s appointment as the ACB director-general.
However, out of Five people who competed for the position, Malera scored 22.6 out of 25 to emerge the best.
