President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera has congratulated Nyasa Big Bullets Football Club for reaching finals of CECAFA Kagame Cup in Tanzania.
The people’s team progressed to the finals after beating Azam FC 4 – 2 on post-match penalties on Wednesday night.
In a statement released hours ago Chakwera hailed the team for putting up a gallant fight.
“The First lady and I join Malawians in congratulating Nyasa Big Bullets for reaching the CECAFA Kagame Cup Final. This is great achievement , one that will go down in the history records of our national football.
“As you face the last hurdle of the tournament, be assured of my support and my belief in your success. You can win this for all of us,” said Chakwera.
Meanwhile Nyasa Big Bullets will face Express FC of Uganda in the finals this coming Saturday.
