President Lazarus Chakwera has dismissed with immidiate effect Chris Chaima Banda from his position as Chief Advisor to the President on Strategy and Manifesto Implementation.
This is contained in a statement released by State House Director of Communications Sean Kampondeni.
Chaima Banda’s dismissal follows his arrest by the ACB on Monday together with former Energy minister Newton Kambala and AFORD President Enoch Chihana over allegations of misconduct regarding fuel supply contracts at NOCMA.
Chakwera has also fired Minister of Energy Newton Kambala over the same matter.
