A Burundian National, Samson Hamenyimana who was plying trade in Kasungu has been found dead in a pit at Mtunthama village in the district.
Refugee Rights Activist Innocent Magambi has condemned the incident urging the police to investigate and arrest perpetrators of the attack.
Currently, refugee leaders from Dzaleka camp in Dowa have rushed to the scene for a fact finding.
Central East Police Region Spokesperson Harry Namwaza has confirmed about the incident adding that police and medical officers are on the ground to get details and establish cause of the death.
