The United Nations in Malawi has expressed sadness over the death of a 20-year-old man with Albinism.
According to a press statement issued by the UN, the organisation says it is saddened by reports that the remains of a man with
albinism have been found close to Blantyre with several of his body parts missing.
Ian Muhama was reported missing by his relatives towards the end of July.
The UN has since called on the Government to fully implement the National Action Plan on Persons with Albinism and that the criminal practice is fully eliminated in Malawi.
