Vice President Dr. Saulos Chilima has mourned former Chief Justice Lovemore Munlo who died earlier today at Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital (QECH) in Blantyre.
According to Chilima, the giant has slept and has taken the journey back to the glory of the Lord.
“A nation is robbed and deprived not only for a great legal mind but a bastion of wisdom too. Our loss, heavens gain,” said Chilima.
“Our prayers are for God the merciful to grant your soul eternal rest and give strength and solace to the family, your esteemed peers at the bench and the entire judicial establishment, the legal fraternity, friends and all of us; as we come to terms with this painful and devastating loss,” he said.
Munlo’s death comes barely eight days after his young brother Isaac Munlo died of Covid-19 at the same hospital.
