State Vice President Dr. Saulos Chilima has embarked on a thank you tour after a successful Southern Africa Development Community (SADC) Summit in the capital Lilongwe.
On Friday Chilima toured the Kamuzu International Airport (KIA) where he said Malawi has delivered a very successful SADC summit.
He said that feedback has been positive.
He said that if not for Malawians taking ownership of the summit, it wouldhave flopped.
He has thus appealed to all Malawians and especially the airport staff to step up efforts to keep with good work, even after the summit.
After touring KIA, Chilima also stopped at Bingu International Conference Centre (BICC) where he also applauded the management on the same.
Chilima was accompanied by Minister of Tourism and Culture Michael Usi.
