The body of former Chief Justice Lovemore Munlo will be laid to rest today at his home village at Chigodi in kachere Township, Blantyre near Chiradzulu Turn-off.

Munlo died on Thursday at Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital (QECH) after testing positive for COVID-19.

President Dr. lazarus Chakwera has since directed that Munlo’s funeral be accorded full military honours.

Munlo also served as the country’s Minister of Justice.

Born on May 1 1950, Munlo is survived by a wife, two children, 13 grand children and 55 great grand children.
