Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) spokesperson Brown Mpinganjira has denied social media rumors that he has been fired form the party.

There have been reports that Mpinganjira has been expelled from the former ruling party as he is siding with parties from the Tonse Alliance.

However, Mpinganjira has said that former president Peter Mutharika who is also DPP’s leader has not written him on the matter.

Annoyingly, Mpinganjira has admitted to be fed up with the developments that are happening in the party, giving an example of his beating at the DPP press briefing by some party youth in Lilongwe.

“I am a human being. I have children and a family. Have you been beaten live on television? How would you feel if it were your mum or dad?” asked Mpinganjira.

Ironically, he tells the party leadership to fire him if it truly believes in the narrative that he misleads Mutharika.
