President Lazarus Chakwera has cancelled his trip to attend the United Nations General Assembly duped UNGA, state house has confirmed.
According to Sean Kampondeni, Chakwera’s Executive Assistance and Director of Communications has said the president will attend the assembly virtually.
Chakwera was due to leave for the USA on 18th September.
Kampondeni has said the President has decided to cancel his trip due to emerging issues which needs to be addressed.
Kampondeni has said this at the State House media briefings at Sanjika Palace in Blantyre.
