President Lazarus Chakwera has appointed Anthony Kasunda as acting Press Secretary.
State House Communications Director Sean Kampondeni has confirmed in a statement seen by this publication.
According the statement, Kasunda’s appointment is with immediate effect.
The appointment of Kasunda follows the absence of Brian Banda who was Chakwera’s presidential spokesperson and is out of the country to pursue studies in China.
Until his appointment, Kasunda was public Relations officer for Blantyre City Council.
