Chakwera pays tribute to Rafiq Hajat

President Lazarus Chakwera has conveyed his condolence to the family and the nation following the death of human rights activist Rafik Hajat.

Chakwera has conveyed the message through his Executive Assistant Sean Kampondeni at a briefing in Lilongwe.

Veteran right activist died yesterday night.

Hajat is said to have succumbed to a heart attack as the family was planning to fly him to South Africa to receive further medical treatment.
