SALIMA – National Organisation of Nurses and Midwives (Nonm) president Galang’anda Simeza has confirmed that three nurses were among six people killed when a minibus heading to Lilongwe overturned at Katengeza Market along Salima-Lilongwe Road on Monday.

According to Simeza, the nurses were on a trip to attend a workshop organised by the organisation.

The nurses have been identified as Hazwell Njawara of St. Annie’s Hospital and Alice M’mera of Nkhotakota DHO who died on the spot.

While Kelvin Kalulu of St. Annie’s Hospital died while receiving treatment.
