Six female entrepreneurs receive K48 million in Lilongwe

LILONGWE – United States African Development Foundation has disbursed K48 million to six women entreprenuers.
The recipients namely; Jaariah Misyaje, Lucy Msukwa, Chimwemwe Mkwezalamba, Chiza Mhango, Idah Mwawa and Martha Madziatera are all alumnae of the Academy for Women Entrepreneurs (AWE) program implemented for the first time in the country in 2020.
Among others the academy provides women with skills, resources, and networks needed to start and scale successful businesses.
