Fraudsters have robbed four students from Chilongoma Teachers Training College in Blantyre tuition fees amounting to about 800, 000 kwacha.

The College’ Deputy Principal, Moses Bokosi, an institution which is owned by Development from People to People, DAPP confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.

According to Bokosi, the impostors called the students to make mobile phone cash transfers, which the students adhered to without consulting the college’s authorities.

Chileka police publicist Sergeant Jonathan Phillipo also confirmed to have received the complaint on the matter.

Meanwhile police have launched an investigation on the matter.
