The opposition Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) has appointed Member of Parliament for Mangochi South West Honourable Shadreck Namalomba as the Party’s spokesperson.
The party has confirmed of the development in a statement posted on its official facebook page seen by this publication.
Namalomba replaces Brown Mpinganjira.
“Good Morning Malawians, Meeting our newly appointed Spokesperson, Honourable Shadreck Namalomba, MP for Mangochi South West. He is a qualified chartered accountant and now serving as Chairperson of Public Accounts Committee of Parliament.
“He has worked at ILLOVO, MRA, EGENCO before joining politics as a Member of Parliament in 2019. He is a managing partner of Crowe Horwath auditors,” reads in part the statement.
Namalomba’s appointment is with immediate effect.
