Primary School Teacher Arrested For Tampering With Albino Graveyard In Ntchisi

Police in Ntchisi District have arrested a 36-year-old primary school teacher on suspicion that he tampered with a graveyard of a person with albinism.
Ntchisi Police spokesperson, Richard Kaponda, identified the suspect as Zuzeni Banda who teaches at Chitundu Primary School.
He is said to have exhumed a graveyard of a person with albinism, where he removed some body tissues.
It is said that the incident happened on September 9, 2021 at Chandawira Village in the area of Traditional Authority Vusojere in the district.
Kaponda said the deceased was identified as Nyama James and died in 2018.
Zuzeni, who hails from Chithonje Village, Traditional Authority Malenga’s area in Ntchisi, will appear in court soon the charges leveled against him.
