The body of well-known musician Chicco Kalirani was on Tuesday laid to rest at Chiswe Village in Chigumula, Blantyre.
Kalirani, who was a Bishop of Church of Christ, died of High Blood Pressure at Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital in Blantyre on Sunday.
The musician, famed for hits such as ‘Achithekele’ and ‘Galu Amulume’ was born on October 27,1974.
Kalirani used to star with musician and legislator Billy Kaunda in Armageddon Band.
He was popular with rhumba music.
He is survived by a wife and three children.
