Former First Lady Gertrude Mutharika attends bridal shower

Former First Lady Professor Gertrude Mutharika on Sunday attended a bridal shower of a family friend in the eastern district.
This is the first public appearance for Madam Mutharika since the Democratic Progressive party (DPP) was booted out of power by the Tonse Alliance under President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera.
Madam Mutharika campaigned heavily for husband.
The two are currently based in the eastern district of Mangochi.
