A policeman has allegedly freed a female suspect after having sex with her.
The police officer identified as Corporal Isaac Ampomah stationed at Nkanfoa in the Cape Cast Metropolis of the Central Region acted unprofessionally and release the suspect after having sexual intercourse with her.
According to reports, the suspect identified as Theresa Forson had been in custody for days.
The policeman is set to have slept with the suspect on Saturday,25th September 2021 in her cell when nobody else was at post.
Corporal Isaac Ampomah after having s.ex with the female suspect asked her to run away from the cells to a place where she can’t be traced.
After the police found out,the Station Officer mobilized men in search of the suspect.
The suspect went home and the family brought her back to the police due to fear of harbouring a fugitive.
The policeman who freed the suspect has been arrested.
